Candidates should be capable of supporting on-going web design and maintenance functions of web-based portals hosted in multiple independent networks with unique security requirements.
There are two primary functional focus areas associated with this position Maintenance, and Web Design tasks.
Web Design : This position will be responsible for developing and testing custom web utilities in support evolving policy, doctrine, procedural, and mission priorities.
Associated web design tasks include, but are not limited to :
- Develop and test custom web parts, libraries and lists while managing site permissions
- Develop and maintain custom workflows, utilizing Visio and SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft Power Apps
- Utilize Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Scripting and JQuery to manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) and customize pages using Client Side Rendering
- Provide graphic support (limited to the manipulation of existing images)
Maintenance : This position will be responsible for ensuring perpetual availability and performance of existing web portals in classified, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and unclassified environments.
Maintenance task responsibilities for the Web Design and Maintenance include, but are not limited to :
- Management of infrastructure resources (storage, memory, compute) to ensure proper function and performance of the web hierarchy (hubs, tenants, and sites)
- Providing technical guidance regarding the management of relevant software licenses
- Configure and implement DOD selected collaboration tools including Microsoft SharePoint, Defense Collaboration Services, Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, and PowerBI
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
- US Citizen
- Active DoD Top Secret Security clearance (or equivalent Tier 5 security investigation) with Special Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
- IAT Level I certification (A+, CCNA Security, CND, Network+, SSCP)
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Minimum five years experience with :
- Managing space / storage requirements for web-enabled systems - hubs, tenants, and sites
- Developing and testing custom web parts, libraries, and lists
- Managing site permissions
- Developing and maintain custom workflows, utilizing common tools such as Visio and SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft Power applications
- Utilizing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Scripting and JQuery to manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) and customize pages using Client Side Rendering
- Providing graphic support (limited to the manipulation of existing images)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior uniformed military experience (honorably discharged)
- Experience designing and / or maintaining web-enabled applications in multi-domain environments utilizing Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS)
