Job Description :
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Interpret ultrasound images and communicate findings to physicians for patient diagnosis.
- Maintain patient records and adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- ARDMS certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Texas state licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
