Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support and enhance the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop effective educational plans and accommodations.
- Act as a resource for staff on student behavior, learning, and mental health concerns.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current Illinois certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
