About Our Client
Our client is a leading gaming and entertainment provider based in Las Vegas. They have grown quickly, are now publicly listed, and have ambitious plans to broaden globally.

They are looking for a corporate controller to join the group and report directly to the CFO. This person will be responsible for leading a high performing accounting team and taking the lead on overall accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial control.
Job Description
- Financial Reporting : Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, GAAP, and other relevant financial reporting standards.
- Internal Controls : Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Audit Management : Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate all audit activities to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Financial Systems : Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified CPA who has a very strong understanding of technical financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements for a publicly listed company.
You will have a strong level of experience within software and gaming, with knowledge on particular aspects such as revenue recognition.
You will have led successful accounting teams previously.
