About The Position
Job Title : Night Shift Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Medical Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30);
Weekdays and Some Weekends Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years in a clinical setting License : Active RN License Certifications : BCLS and IV Certifications Must-Have : Proficiency in IV management, medication administration, patient education, and previous experience with EPIC EMR system.
Job Description : Perform IV starts and manage IV lines proficiently.- Administer medications safely and accurately.- Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatment.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and self-care techniques.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EPIC EMR system.- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float to lower acuity units as needed.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.- Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.- Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information : - A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.- Prior travel nursing experience is desirable.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; Flu vaccine is required with medical exemptions only.- Candidates should complete necessary fingerprinting as soon as possible upon contract signing.
- Candidates located within driving distance will be required to drive for fingerprinting, while others will receive a packet to complete urgently.
