Job Description : The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

The LPN accurately collects data need for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment. The LPN must have a knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.

Communicates changes in the patient’s condition to the (RN) We look for nurses who demonstrate competent patient care, good communication and relationship skills;

One year as a LPN in psychiatric nursing required. Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
