Room Attendant
The AC by Marriott Hotel at the Vancouver Waterfront i s currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our growing team!
The 150-room AC by Marriott Hotel opened in June 2022, featuring 7,000 sq ft of event space (all with river view), restaurant and lounge with outdoor seating, and spectacular views of the Columbia River.

As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms / suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

Responsibilities :
- Cleaning assigned rooms / suites daily
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms
- Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items
- Making beds
- Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary
- Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities
- Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and / or training
- Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Basic math skills
