Our client, a Plaintiff Personal Injury Firm, is looking for a Legal Operations and Building Manager.
Qualifications :
Our ideal candidate for this role would have 5 + years' experience working in a personal injury law firm as well as prior experience managing or supervising a team which can include leading a team within any office.
The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for a less stressful position who is tired of running a high case load and looking to transition into management.
Job Type :
This is a full-time, in-office position working Monday through Friday. The work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to constantly operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Candidate must have the ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move boxes or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, walk short distances, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, and observe details at close range.
Compensation :
$70,000 annually plus end of year bonus which is usually 2 weeks salary depending on how well the firm does that year.

Position Responsibilities :
Operations
Identify and implement organizational and operational process improvement, workflows, and automation opportunities to meet the growth trends and operating needs of the firm.
Prepare, monitor and track legal department metrics, including key data points aligned to the legal department's goals and objectives and other performance metrics.
Monitor and enforce the firm's practices, policies, and procedures.
Organize and lead trainings with departments (attorneys, paralegals, medical records coordinators, presuit, reception) monthly as well as individual training as needed or requested.
Coordinate with case related external vendors and service providers
Resolve non-complex IT Issues that are within scope of knowledge so they can be resolved timely
Evaluate, select, and help implement technology solutions to support the firm's operations ( e.g., e-discovery, records management, attorney resources, etc.).
Work with IT admin to assess current equipment, need for upgrades, and new IT processes.
Implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and retention.
Act as liaison with firm bookkeeper to resolve issues with invoices, set up new accounts for payments, and ensure costs are being reimbursed as case expenses.
Oversee purchase of supplies for office, events, and marketing materials
Building
Vendor Relations and Management (cleaners, shredding, copiers, pest control, fire alarm monitoring, elevator maintenance, internet providers)
Set up key fob accounts for employees and deactivate at offboarding.
Monitor the firm's portal for automatic door locks; and set up after-hours door locks for events or construction workers as needed.
Field employee concerns regarding lighting, office temperature, offensive smells, annoying sounds, work space needs
Coordinate inspection of elevator, fire extinguisher, and fire alarm system annually
Oversee facilities management, including space planning, maintenance, repairs, enhancements and office supply purchasing.
Monitor designated parking spaces to ensure BTG employees, 2nd Floor tenants, and guests are parking in the appropriate spaces.
