Bakehouse Sanitation Team Member - Full Time

Job Description

The Sanitation Team Member will maintain all store and facility areas to ensure a clean and safe work environment for both Team Members and guests.

This position will perform various daily / weekly cleaning tasks, minor repairs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties on the daily and weekly Sanitation and Maintenance lists, and adhere to cleaning and maintenance schedules
• Follow all GMP guidelines, complete all documentation for HACCP, FSMA, and daily operational sheets as required by food safety plan
• Accept and process product from the store receiver.
• Follow established hazardous material safety procedures.
• Keep floor clear of any dry or liquid debris.
• Empty trash containers and replace liners.
• Keep and maintain accurate sweep logs.
• Use appropriate protective equipment.
• Maintain back stock areas and coolers.
• Dust fixtures, shelves and product.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces.
• Support all teams with cleaning projects.
• Keep department supplies filled and maintained.
• Keep all supply shelves clean and stocked.
• Practice safe use of tools and equipment required by position.
• Practice proper case and maintenance of equipment.
• Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
• Report safety violations and hazards immediately.
• Participate in ordering supplies needed for store maintenance.
• Help with any cleaning emergencies that occur in the facility.
• Comply with all state and federal health and safety codes.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Experience cleaning in the food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge and experience performing basic maintenance
• Knowledge of state and federal safety codes
• Able to work well without direct supervision
• Able to operate all necessary equipment and perform all physical requirements of the job
• Safe and tidy work habits
• Able to communicate effectively
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required

Schedule

• Option 1 : 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am Monday, Tuesday, and Friday & 4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am Saturday and Sunday (off Wednesday and Thursday)
• Option 2 : 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am Monday, Thursday, and Friday & 4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am Saturday and Sunday (off on Tuesday and Wednesday)
• Off on Wednesday and Thursday
