What you will be doing

In the most senior professional role managing the business solutions function across multiple divisions. Expert-level depth and / or breadth of skills, experience and proficiency in multiple industry disciplines.

As an expert, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. Manages resolution of unique and complex problems on large scale development and / or delivery projects that have a broad impact to either the company’s or client’s enterprise.

Works on issues that impact design / selling success or address future concepts or solution offerings.

Anticipates internal and / or external business and technology challenges and / or regulatory issues; recommends process, product and / or service improvements.

Identifies areas for increased operational efficiencies and expenditure reduction within an assigned area. Cultivates thought leadership across industry disciplines in a business segment.

Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the company. Engages with executive level clients, , CEO / Director.

Often manages larger enterprise-wide teams, large client engagements or sponsors multiple projects. Exercises wide latitude in determining organization-wide objectives and approaches to business solutions.

Drives collaboration across FIS business lines which results in exceptional client loyalty. Typically requires eighteen or more years systems development, solutions implementation and / or consulting experience.

Significant barriers to entry, , top management review, approval exist at this level.

What you bring

• The ability to collaborate with senior-level clients, product management and technical architects to develop, enhance and implement the business architecture for complex business solutions to support specific client requirements and address market opportunities.
• An in-depth knowledge of financial services industry practices, regulations and processes and individual client differences.
• Ability to define and maintain a business architecture that offers flexibility to the product strategy to configure product and services solutions that meet business requirements of clients in the marketplace with a focus on business usability.
• Ability to interface with all areas of the client and internal enterprises affected by the project including strategic planning, product management, product development, technology services and client services to ensure the client’s expectations and market requirements are met.
• Ability to negotiate with and influences both the solutions architects and external clients to achieve a business solution that meets client expectations and market requirements.
• Ability to document and communicate opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.
• Ability to communicate business architecture to technical and business audiences.
• Identifies and incorporate business process improvements for increased efficiency and enhanced client experience into new solutions.

Bonus if you have

• Prior experience working directly or indirectly with FIS IBS Core or other FIS ancillary applications.
• IBS Loan Application experience
• Experience in any of the following areas :
• Loan Operations Manager
• Loan Auditor
• Prior C-Level management experience
• Prior experience working for a banking institution in operations or information technology.
• Product Management experience or PMP

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123, - $207, and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
