About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Please inquire for details Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Valid state or compact license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS & NRP Must-Have : - Circulate, Conscious Sedation, and Triage skills Job Description : - Provide compassionate care to labor patients and postpartum couplets - Handle an average daily census of 8-10 labor patients - Accept first-time clinicians - On-call requirement and weekend work every other weekend - Float as needed within the hospital, serving as helping hands or sitter to other units - Open to block scheduling, subject to manager's discretion - Required to complete up to 8 hours of modules within one week of signing Hospital Highlights : - Short-Term Acute Care facility - Trauma II hospital - 90 total staffed beds - Powder blue scrub color - Epic charting system Additional Requirements : - Return staff policy requires one year gap before returning as a traveler - Flu vaccine required with no exemptions This position offers an opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic setting.
