- Experience in administration of blood / blood products during treatment
- Baxter, Fresenius J / K, and Gambro experience
Job Description :
- Perform Hemodialysis (HD) and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) in the unit and bedside.
- Conduct Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) at the bedside.
- Manage patients with an average daily census of 30.
- Work every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, as needed by the unit.
- Scheduled on-call required during weekdays and weekends; every other Saturday mandatory, with variable Sunday calls.
- Flexibility to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs across multiple locations.
- Experience in initiating and setting up dialysis treatment.
- Proficiency in machine alarm troubleshooting procedures.
- Comprehensive post-dialysis treatment experience.
- Skilled in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
- Effective symptom management expertise.
- Compliance with flu vaccine requirements between 10 / 31 and 3 / 31, with exemptions for medical and religious reasons.
- Solid-colored scrubs required, without mixing or logos.
This position is in an acute care hospital setting with a Level II adult trauma designation and involves the use of Sunrise charting (no prior experience required).
