As a systems engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the Space Force to develop and deploy the next-generation weapons systems fixed ground segment known as Integrated Correlation and Display System (ICADS).

Your client will trust you to help execute programmatic systems engineering reviews such as the Critical Design Review (CDRs) and the Technical Readiness Review (TRR), which entails developing entrance and exit criteria, IEEE criteria, and review documentation, including ICDs, system specifications, or test plans submitted by the developer of the ICADS system.

You will develop and execute verification plans and technical assessments, participate in scenario working groups, and provide systems engineering expertise to the program office.

You Have :

  • 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration on national security space programs
  • Experience in the acquisition, systems engineering, or test and evaluation of the ground segment of a space system
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, CS, or Physics

Nice If You Have :

  • Experience leading a team for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents and integration, and test plans and schedules for satellite systems
  • Experience leading a team to conduct or support space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs)
  • Experience leading test and evaluation programs for space or ground systems
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
  • Ability to be highly motivated and demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, CS, or Physics
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certifications

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
