Experience : 1 year of experience required
License : Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS required
Must-Have :
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practices
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing specialized care
- Proficiency in computer skills
Job Description :
- Provide nursing care in the specialty area of Procedural Recovery - Interventional Radiology under general supervision.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments.
- Assist physicians in examinations, perform minor diagnostic procedures, and administer medication as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' physiological data, administer intravenous infusions and blood products, and deliver competent patient care.
- Interact with patients and families to share care plans and ensure understanding of hospital procedures.
- Delegate tasks to support staff, maintain good working relationships, and make referrals for patient care needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned and work collaboratively within the healthcare team to provide excellent specialized care.
