POSITION : Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Part-time / No benefits LOCATION : Central Bucks High School South

Location Subject to Change) AVAILABLE : 2024 / 2025 School Year COMPENSATION : $18.43* p / hr HOURS : 29.9 or less hours per week (Exact hours TBD) DESCRIPTION :

Duties include working one-to-one with a student with one or more of the following needs : autism / emotional / behavioral needs / intellectual disability / medical needs / physical needs / grooming and personal care needs / academic needs / organizational and impulsivity needs, in the classroom, specials, lunch and recess.

Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.

If student toileting is required, additional $1.25 per hour will be added to base pay.

Employment contingent upon personal care services being required for the student's individualized educational program.

Utilization of crisis prevention techniques / strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP.

Training will be provided via CBSD.

REQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma / Transcripts or GED equivalent required at time of hire (the minimum). Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, effectively communicate with both students and adults and be a positive role model for students.
