Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients and monitor their responses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that documentation meets required standards.
- Educate patients and their families on illness, wellness, and the recovery process.
- Support patient admission and discharge processes.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures as well as nursing best practices.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Current Idaho RN license or compact state RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with additional experience in ED and LTC highly valued.
- Excellent clinical skills with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
