POSITION SUMMARY
Clinicians hired to provide Education will work within the framework set forth by the Association of Nursing Professional Development ANPD .
The role involves identifying and addressing learning needs using evidence-based practices in order to enhance the professional growth of practicing nurses and inter-professional learners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing orientation, competency assessment, and support for professional development.
The position also requires active participation in fulfilling the organization's mission and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related required (individuals without a Master's will be required to complete the degree within 2 years of their hire date).
B. Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and a minimum two (2) years educator experience in an acute care setting preferred, some nursing education-related experience required.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Staff Development or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred. Experience with implementation of an EMR preferred.
C. Special Skills / Knowledge
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)

- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
