Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field with a Bachelor’s degree;
or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree. Experience in system engineering and demonstrated leadership capabilities in cost, scheduling, and technical management are required.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred. Applicants selected will undergo a .

As the Control Systems Project Lead , you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers in the successful delivery of advanced Guidance and Control systems for the US Military.
This role requires strong leadership skills, adaptability to new technologies, and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills, a passion for technical progress, critical thinking ability, and strong motivation to lead and nurture a cross-functional team are essential.
Technical Objectives :
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering and related technology areas, serving as a technical lead with extensive experience across a wide range of development technologies.
- Lead major development and production systems as a technical contributor, applying advanced technologies to solve complex problems.
- Ensure all engineering efforts meet or exceed technical and schedule requirements, integrating, testing, and verifying project requirements for high-quality deliverables.
- Resolve technical issues, communicate resolutions, and ensure effective implementation.
- Develop and maintain engineering plans, risks, and opportunities, adhering to established standards and practices.
Management Objectives :
- Demonstrate leadership, team building, and motivational skills.
- Effectively communicate and interact with senior members of the company and customer communities.
- Collaborate with senior engineering leadership, chief engineers, and program managers to plan, authorize, and monitor project activities.
- Ensure the project team is staffed with the appropriate engineering skills and capabilities.
- Conduct regular status reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Motivate the team, provide clear project goals, and offer performance feedback and management.
- Manage engineering resources, organizational interfaces, and engineering scope.
- Provide input for potential areas of Research and Development to the engineering leadership.
Ideal Candidate :
Hold or able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance Experience with current and next-generation guidance and control systems for the Department of Defense Proficiency in target detection, acquisition, and prosecution Familiarity with acoustic sensors, signal processing, guidance, cybersecure systems, and high reliability systems
