Key ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, clean, decontaminate, and disinfect surgical instrumentsAssemble, package, sterilize, and track surgical instruments and suppliesPerform and record sterilization tests and verify completion of sterilization processesRequired Qualifications and TrainingMust attain Central Processing Certification from HSPA within one year of hireFor Tech II : One year of work experience in Central Processing and proficiency in two or more specialtiesFor Tech III : One year of work experience in Central Processing and proficiency in all specialtiesCurrent CP Certification from HSPA is required for Tech II and Tech III
