About The Position
Job Title : Clinical Lab ScientistJob Specialty : Medical Technologist - Hematology - CoagulationJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : Night 5x8-Hour (11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)Guaranteed Hours : Pending update from managerExperience : Must have 2 years of experience in specialty for all locationsLicense : Compact or LA license in hand upon submittalCertifications : AHA certifications requiredMust-Have : - COVID-19 Vaccine : Required - Medical / Religious Exemptions Only- Flu Vaccine : Required - No Exemptions- AWHONN Intermediate for L&D- CPI for all CNAER nurses, or able to obtain before start- NURSYS Reports for RNs, up to date within 4 weeks of submission date- Previous staff or in-house contractors must be separated for 1 full year before returningJob Description : - Perform laboratory tests and procedures in Hematology and Coagulation- Operate laboratory equipment and ensure its maintenance- Analyze and interpret test results accurately- Follow safety and quality control procedures- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide patient care- Document and report laboratory findings in a timely manner- Attend orientation sessions as scheduled- Exhibit proficiency in laboratory principles, including understanding patient results
