WorkSchedule :
Monday Friday 9 hours between7 : 00am and 4 : 30pm including a one hour lunch
Clinics include Flight Medicine Family Health Pediatricsand Operational Medicine
Core LPN Duties : The dutiesinclude but are not limited to the following;
Initiateperform and complete assigned duties in providing care to variablepatient populations.
Complete assigned patient care basedon the patients conditions use judgment in selecting theappropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments andaccurately recognize report and record relevant patientinformation.
Observe identify and respond to the patientsneeds for care including medication equipmentassisted care andpatient / family education.
Prepare and administerprescribed medications (oral topical subcutaneous intramuscularand / or intravenous) and perform treatments according to establishedpolicies / procedures.
Recognize urgent or emergent patientcare situations seek assistance of the RN and / or MD / DO and initiateappropriate emergency interventions as directed.
Performsupport duties for complex diagnostic tests and / or specializedpractices or procedures which include preparing the patientassisting in the diagnostic examination preparing and handlingspecialized instruments or other specialized equipment andmonitoring the patients condition before during and following theprocedure.
Orient peers and ancillary personnel to unitpolicies and procedures skills and standards of practice.
Integrate healthy work environment principles that result inimproved patient healthcare delivery education of patients andtheir families and employeesatisfaction.
MinimumQualifications :
- Education : Graduate from an accredited communitycollege junior college college university or vocational nursingprogram approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited bythe Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or anotheracceptable accreditation body
- Experience : Minimum 1 year experience as a LPN / LVNwithin the past 24 months.
- Licensure : Active unrestricted LPN / LVN license fromany state.
- Life SupportCertification : Possess current ARC or AHA BLSHealthcare Provider certification.
- Security : Must possess ability to pass a Governmentbackground check / securityclearance.
