Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
Execute finishing and painting tasks on millwork components according to project specifications
Prepare surfaces, apply primers, paints, and finishes using appropriate techniques
Inspect and touch up finished millwork to ensure quality and consistency
Collaborate with the design team to achieve the desired aesthetic results
Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
Assist in other labor tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks
Work on various shifts to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork finishing and painting
Knowledge Base : Strong knowledge of millwork materials, techniques, and installation best practices. Proficient in various finishing techniques, priming, and painting applications.
Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and finishes
Shift Availability : Flexibility to work on all shifts based on project requirements
Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry
Valid Driver's License : A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
Problem solving abilities desired but not required
Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals.
Experience with environmental and safety regulations related to finishing processes desired but not required.
