Helicopter Mechanic

As an integral member of the U.S. Army's Aviation Maintenance Team, the Helicopter Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of military helicopters, ensuring they are safe, fully functional, and ready for deployment. This role involves working directly on aircraft and their components, including engines, rotors, and transmissions. The position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to serve your country by supporting crucial military operations. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters. Inspect helicopter engines, mechanical components and avionic systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance. Ensure compliance with all Army regulations and safety procedures. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the maintenance department. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with hydraulic and mechanical systems specific to aircraft. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and diagrams. Skilled in the use of troubleshooting diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail.
