About the Role

The purpose of this job is to ensure timely, accurate and safe delivery of passengers to and from designated locations while maintaining a clean & efficient running vehicle.

What will you do?

  • Provide safe and efficient transportation for executives and other VIPs to various destinations including meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Always maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle, including regular servicing and maintenance checks.
  • Plan and optimize driving routes to ensure timely arrivals, considering traffic conditions and weather.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle and carrying luggage or other items as needed.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers.
  • Always ensure confidentiality and discretion, maintaining the privacy of the passengers.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as keeping logs of mileage, expenses, and trip details.
  • Stay updated on the latest safety and security procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any needs or concerns of the passengers promptly.
  • Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and monitor vehicles for regular maintenance / service needs on the road or in the shop and assist with repairs as needed
  • Follow all Landus safety policies and procedures
  • Follow all state and federal DOT driving laws, rules, and regulations
  • Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program
  • Champion of safety compliance throughout organization

Requirements :

Candidate Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization.

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Licenses, Registrations, Certificates

  • Class C CDL with Passenger Endorsment
  • This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in our motor vehicle safety policy.

Failure to meet these qualifications could result in removal from this position.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, crawl, sit and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee may sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • The employee must occasionally push, pull or lift and / or move up to 100 pounds
