JOB TYPE : Law Firm
Description : Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in our New York office for an Intellectual Property Patent Litigation Associate.
The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience in a full range of patent litigation matters, including depositions, infringement analyses, claim construction, drafting substantive briefs involving patent issues, summary judgment, and motions to dismiss.
Qualifications : Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of New York.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands :
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Sedentary work : Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time.
Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures;
transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Salary :
The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and / or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $210,000 $255,000.
