- Rough In
- Measure, cut, and, pull wire to each device location
- Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools
- Install boxes
- Trim Out - Switch and Plugging
- Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals
- Panel installations
- Low Voltage Control
- Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure the proper functioning
- Supervise, lead, and train apprentices on your crew
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
- Organize tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions of the electrician
Job Knowledge
- Must have at least 3 years experience in Residential electrical new build and / or remodels
- Experienced in operating hand tools / equipment
- Experienced at troubleshooting electrical circuitry problems
Job Requirements
- Valid Drivers License and ability to drive company truck to projects
- Must have hand tools for the electrical trade
- Work from all types of step ladders, frame ladders, and all-size extension ladder
- Work in all elements of weather depending on job location, time of year (heat, cold, rain, and direct sunlight)
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
