Job Description
Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Active Property & Casualty License (required)
- Proficiency with AMS360 agency management system (required)
- Insurance designations preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of independent agency experience required; 10+ years preferred
- Previous experience working with accounts $10K-$200K in premium (required)
- Good customer service skills, phone skills, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A track record of long-term commitment and tenure in previous roles (required)
Responsibilities :
- Handling a variety of accounts (e.g., propane distributors, towing & recovery, nursing homes, light manufacturing, transportation)
- Working with accounts $10K-$200K in premium
- Handling a full desk from start to finish (spreadsheets, proposals, etc.)
- Quoting both new and renewal business with a variety of carriers to ensure best price
Compensation :
- Salary Range : $60K-$70K (based on experience) + opportunities for bonuses and commissions
- Excellent Benefits and 401K Offered
- Hybrid Work Schedule Available : Potential Hybrid schedule after training and depending on skill level
