Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Teacher Education Adjunct Professor positions.

This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach late afternoon, or evening hours.

Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

Position Responsibilities

FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Instruct classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
• Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and / or college committees.
• Pursue professional development.
• Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
• Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
• Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES :

• Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8), K-12 Administration & Supervision, K-12 Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of relevant K-12 teaching experience.
• Experience with online teaching modalities.
• Experience implementing culturally responsive pedagogy using multiple instructional methods, formats, and assessments.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Experience mentoring and / or supervising teacher candidates preferred.
• Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Supplemental Information

Salary : Lecture rate $90.47 / hour, and lab rate is $77.27 / hour.
