Project Coordinator - Energy Division
Welty Energy, an affiliate of Welty, is a professional services company specializing in program and project management, transmission line engineering, substation engineering and construction oversight on transmission, substation and distribution projects ranging in voltages from 4kV to 765kV.
Headquartered in Akron, OH, and working nationally, Welty Energy currently manages approximately $500 million in construction projects for electric utilities in the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.
S. In addition Welty provides professional construction management services, specializing in Lean Construction for clients in a variety of healthcare, commercial, education, and hospitality markets nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Preconstruction planning
- Facilitating site meetings
- Last Planner meetings
- Drive Collaboration
- QA / QC, safety coordination on Energy sites
- Overall site support for Project Managers
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Electrical or Civil Engineering preferred - equivalent degree required (including Construction Management)
- 1 to 4 years previous experience in the Energy sector
- 230kv Reb Transmission line and Substation background preferred
- Lean experience preferred
- Excellent leadership and facilitation skills
- Safety focused
