Schedule : Part Time Nights (24hrs / week)About Us - Birthing Center* Located on the first floor at Freeman Hospital West we offer private labor, delivery and recovery rooms with a variety of labor options for our patients* As one of the busiest maternity centers in Missouri, we've earned the trust of moms-to-be because we provide family-centered care and individual attention in a warm, caring environment* The Birthing Center consists of 9 labor suites, 2 triage rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 recovery bays* We have highly skilled physician, midwife, and nursing teams with 24-hour in-house, dedicated anesthesia staffWhat You'll DoIn conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families;
plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
Requirements.Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
