A leading professional networking company is seeking a Python Developer - Data Visualization Specialist . The right candidate will develop and operate mission critical services and applications that are used customers and employees worldwide.

The right candidate has a proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in either Java or Python.

Software Engineer P ay and Benefits :

• Hourly pay : $50- $60 / hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
• Worksite : Leading professional development and networking company (San Francisco, CA94105, Seattle, WA 98124, or New York, NY 10118 - Hybrid - days flexible between Tuesday and Thursday)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours / week, 12 Month Assignment

Software Engineer Responsibilities :

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
• Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
• Maintain understanding of latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
• Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
• Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps.
• ETL & Data Stream using Tableau or Grafana to create dashboards.
• Focus : Two main projects involving data metrics visualization and workflow automation.

Software Engineer Qualifications :

• 2+ years of software engineering experience or related field.
• BA / BS degree.
• Experience with training data is a plus.
• Working experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC).
• Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in either Java or Python.
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Technical Skills : Python programming. Data visualization tools (Tableau or Grafana). ETL processes. API usage, GraphQL, SQL, and JSON.
• Soft Skills : Strong communication skills. Ability to conduct user research for workflow automation.
