Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- AZ State Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification.
- 2+ years of relevant experience; experience in a school and / or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to and from different sites.
- BLS / CPR Cert.

- Setting : School
- Schedule : 40 hours per week Mon-Fri.
- Yearlong contract for the 24 / 25 school year
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Duties :
- Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
- Competent care is rendered to patients using exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
- Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
- Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Pay :
- $36-$38 / hr taxable
- $1,440-$1,520 weekly Total on 40 hours.
- Weekly Direct Deposit
