As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team and support the installation and repair of our coffee valve application machines across various locations in the United States.

Position Overview :

As a Service Technician specializing in coffee valve application machines, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of our equipment at customer sites.

This role will involve traveling to different factories where Plitek machines are installed, conducting installations, troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Install, configure, and commission coffee valve application machines at customer sites according to Plitek's standards and guidelines.

2. Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency and meets performance standards.

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to coffee valve application machines, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems.

4. Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on machine components as necessary to restore functionality and minimize downtime.

5. Provide on-site training to customers on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques for coffee valve application machines.

6. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, work orders, and parts inventory.

7. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, sales and customer support, to address complex technical issues and improve product performance.

8. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with Plitek's products and services.

9. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to coffee valve application machines to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.

2. Proven experience or ability to serve as a service technician or field service engineer, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.

3. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical and electronic systems; experience with PLCs and pneumatic systems is a plus.

4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

5. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

6. Proficient in using hand and power tools for equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.

7. Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends as required.

8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.

9. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
