Seeking an Director of Data Governance and Analytics
Contract
Key Responsibilities :
Managed Self-Service Analytics :
Continue the stewardship and implementation of Managed Self-Service Analytics across the organization.
MS Purview Rollout :
Lead the rollout of Microsoft Purview, ensuring successful deployment and integration within the organization.
Data Governance Roadmap :
- Contribute to the development of the Data Governance Roadmap.
- Manage and revamp the data governance committee to ensure effective governance practices.
Data Model and Reporting Governance :
Conduct discovery and provide recommendations for data model and reporting governance for our ERP and FP&A tools.
Collaboration and Partnerships :
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to align data initiatives with financial goals.
- Partner with key stakeholders to define and implement data governance strategies and frameworks.
Reporting and Interaction :
- Define and optimize how we interact with the business to meet their reporting needs.
- Lead and coordinate data model efforts across divisions, ensuring each division has a vested interest in their data.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in data governance, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations and data needs.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Managed Self-Service Analytics and Microsoft Purview.
- Expertise in ERP and FP&A tools, with a focus on data model and reporting governance.
- Excellent collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance teams and other stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing committees and cross-functional teams.
