Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
This is a vital role in our organization as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions - Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner - Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Basic electrical knowledge is preferred
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Leadership and supervisory experience are desirable
