Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel) - Day Shift Available

Job Description :
- Provide strong circulating experience. Should feel comfortable in all perioperative areas pre, post, OR and PACU in a small critical access facility.
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and available.
- Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments and monitoring patient vitals.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
