As a Director of Business Development, you will drive business and act as a lead point for marketing and admissions strategies.

Our ideal candidate will possess a clinical background or have strong clinical knowledge as well as sales and marketing expertise.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans designed to increase existing relationships at hospitals, physician practices, specialty services, and managed care providers to foster a referral base.
  • Manage and convert fast paced referrals by using clinical grid.
  • Design and develop strategic plans for their assigned regions.
  • Conduct 1 : 1 on contacts with potential referral sources, and develop positive relationships with referral sources.
  • Utilize educational opportunities to present the hospital to referral sources.
  • Identify, contact, and manage potential referral sources.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and associated deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a cross-functional and dynamic, start-up type environment.
  • Travel is required.

Qualifications :

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Formal sales training preferred.
  • An Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or another related field is preferred.
