Driver - Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Position Overview

As a part of our dedicated team, Bilingual Drivers are responsible for operating SiteOne vehicles to deliver world class service and products to our customers.

Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully.

What you’ll do :

• Load and unload products for deliveries
• Make deliveries and ensure product arrives undamaged
• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Perform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to : Lifting and managing heavy objectsWorking in all weather conditions (drivers must be prepared to work in hot and cold temperatures).
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store and other general duties while not driving

Skills We Are Seeking

• Valid state driver’s license
• Driving experience, preferred
• Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English / Spanish are preferred.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Knowledge of landscape, nursery, and irrigation products is a plus!
• Electric pallet jack and / or forklift experience is a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Bilingual Preferred (English / Spanish)
