In-house Contract Recruiter needed : Albany, GA

Quick glance :

This is a commission-based position recruiting Class A truck drivers. Commissions will vary based on the driver position filled and, in some cases, driver experience.

Position is subject to performance based monthly and quarterly bonuses. This is a contractor position (1099), and no benefits are offered.

Experience Requirements :

Recruiting experience is NOT required. Sales experience preferred. Proficiency with a computer and the ability to quickly learn new processes, programs and spreadsheets is a must.

Must be able to carry on a phone conversation while searching for specific job / company related data. Pleasant personality and ability to deal with difficult applicants is a must and will be field tested by applicants on the job constantly.

Duties :

Using company provided phone, resources and information and your own computer; you will screen applications, reviewing their qualifications and matching the driver up with available positions.

Once the position has been explained and the driver agrees, the application will be completed and sent up through the channels for review and approval.

Recruiter will keep in contact with driver through the process to keep them informed about the position; the status of the hiring process and to address any concerns that may arise.

The recruiter will become familiar with the ins and outs of a variety of available trucking opportunities and the hiring requirements for each.

Schedule :

This being a 1099 position, no demands are made in the way of a schedule. The office and support staff operate from 9AM to 5PM Monday thru Friday.

There are scheduled and short-notice meetings weekly. This is an aggressive and competitive business and successful recruiting requires timeliness with taking and returning calls as well as completing, submitting and following up on applications.

Compensation :

This is strictly a commission-based position. Commission is based on the position for which the driver is hired; and may further be influenced by the driver's experience and other factors.

NOTE : The commissions are always published and accessible to recruiter. They are also subject to change at any time due to the dynamic nature of our industry.

Monthly / Quarterly Bonuses :

Every quarter, a new monthly / quarterly bonus program will be introduced.

It usually takes time to build momentum and get your first hire. Also, once a hire is invoiced the commission payouts typically take about 30 days.

Due to the nature of our business and the fact that there are so many variables involved, pay can fluctuate dramatically from week to week.
