We source primarily from Colorado and West Coast farmers, ranchers, and fishers, ensuring our kitchen celebrates local, responsibly harvested ingredients.
Our beverage team curates a thoughtful selection of small-production beers, natural wines, and seasonal cocktails, further enhancing the dining experience.
As part of Id Est Hospitality, Basta serves as both an innovative culinary space and a cornerstone of the local community, committed to providing meaningful, soulful dining experiences that leave a lasting impact.
The General Manager at Basta plays a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in service and hospitality every day. This leader oversees both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, fostering a cohesive environment rooted in a shared commitment to quality.
They inspire a deep appreciation for food, beverage, and culture, driving the standards of hospitality that define Basta.
In addition, the GM manages daily spending, food and beverage costs, labor, and scheduling to ensure smooth operations. They are responsible for weekly payroll, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and embodying hospitality in every guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations to align with Id Est’s cultural and financial goals.
- Partner with leadership to drive the food, beverage, and service vision.
- Manage financial and administrative tasks, including profit and loss oversight and achieving COGS goals.
- Oversee staffing : recruitment, training, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Ensure labor law compliance and uphold a warm, positive guest experience.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years in GM roles within high-caliber dining environments.
- Proven team leader with experience managing teams of 15+ employees.
- Skilled in restaurant financial analysis, technology, and proficient with Google Sheets / Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
