We are looking to fill a long-term Contract role as Data Architect

Mode of Interview : In Person / Webcam

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Work Location : Columbia, SC

Shift : EST

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Governance, with at least 3 years managing large-scale data or integration projects as a dedicated Project Lead.
  • Technical Proficiency : Expert knowledge of various data modeling techniques (Relational, Dimensional, NoSQL) and strong skills in SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning.
  • MDM / Data Quality Tooling : Practical experience defining or implementing solutions using commercial or open-source MDM and data quality tools.
  • Public Sector / Regulated Environment : Demonstrable experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments with strict data security and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to drive consensus among diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage project budgets, and mentor technical staff.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications : Certification in Data Management (e.g., CDMP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications).
  • Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience architecting data solutions using cloud-native services (e.g., AWS S3 / Redshift / Glue or Azure Data Lake / Synapse Analytics).
  • Data Visualization : Experience with enterprise BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) from an architectural standpoint.
  • ERP Data Experience : Familiarity with the data structures and integration points of large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
