OSAAVA Services is seeking a IS and Cyber Security Professional Intermediate to join our Air Force / Space team at Langley / Peterson / Lackland AFB.
IS and Cyber Security Professional primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Locally and remotely operate, configure, administer, troubleshoot,
- manage, and maintain AFIN directory and authentication services. Completes tasks designed to ensure security of the
- organization's systems and information assets. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction and
- develops IT security policies and standards. Works with end users to determine needs of individual departments.
- Implements policies or procedures and tracks compliance throughout the organization.
- Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS / SOW
- Locally and remotely operate, configure, administer, troubleshoot, manage, and maintain servers and software of the Directory and Authentication systems and services.
- Support AF Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Program.
- Perform disaster recovery and restoration actions.
- Support AF bases in preparation for Command Cyberspace Readiness Inspections (CCRIs).
Qualifications and Experience :
- Minimum of 2 years direct / related experience in information security.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification or
- Active Comptia Security + or CySA
- Experience with DoD / USAF information security policy background with practical / hands-on experience applying RMF processes and principles.
- Experience developing and / or contributing to an RMF body of evidence composition, applicable artifacts, and associated control families.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Security Clearance : Active Secret
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
