Summary

We are currently seeking a Land Development Staff Civil Engineer in our Colorado Springs, CO office. This is a great opportunity for an EIT- Civil Engineer who is interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects creating land development plans for our commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team as well as independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria for land development projects
  • Participating in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utility infrastructure utilizing relevant office software, modeling and CADD technology.
  • Compiling submittals to State, Municipal, and other agencies and contributing to the development of more complex submittals.
  • Facilitating effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders and team members.
  • Leads the work of CADD Technicians in order to complete design details.
  • Performs research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of project work or inspection.

Education and Experience

  • A candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in a relevant discipline.
  • A candidate with 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • A candidate with proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • A candidate with knowledge and familiarity in Civil3D is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Must have received, or receive within six months of hire, a valid E.I.T. license. The employee must be capable of driving / operating a motor vehicle for company business, and maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.

Compensation Range

$67,160.00 $95,652.00

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to : individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.

The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
