Job Type : Contract Assignment with Our Partnered Local School District

Location : Plainfield, NJ

Schedule : M-F Standard School Hours : 35 hours weekly

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students, supporting the health and wellness initiatives of the school, and collaborating with educators and parents to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, chronic health condition management, health assessments, and screenings.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans, maintain accurate health records, monitor communicable diseases,respond to medical emergenciesand document student health records while maintaining confidentiality
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote wellness, educate on health-related topics, and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements :

• Associate's Degree / Bachelor's Degreein Nursing
• Must hold a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse&Certification in BLS, CPR and First Aid
• Minimum of 1years of experience as an RN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting (not required) &Proven ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
