SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a Full Time Construction Risk Management Project Manager to provide consulting services on behalf of private equity placement, institutional equity investors, and institutional mortgagees such as commercial banks, insurance companies, pension funds, investment banks, etc.

Projects consist of low and high-rise multi-family, office, retail, hospitality, etc. The services offered by the department, which are often conducted by a team approach, are the review of drawings and specifications for compliance with commonly accepted practices and constructability , review of construction budgets and schedules, review of design and construction agreements, monthly site visits to review : construction progress, change orders, budget status, general compliance of the completed work with the contract drawings and specifications, and review of the CM’s or GC’s requisition for payment.

There is a high degree of client contact in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Oversee the quality of Partner's deliverables throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Coordinating the efforts of Partner team members, and at times Partner Associates (PAs) in order to deliver projects according to the plan
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the Partner team members and the Client in order to successfully deliver a quality product on time
  • Conduct site visits and prepare observation reports

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for all portions of the services / reports being provided, including text and appendices.
  • Provide solid recommendations and solutions to clients, while understanding the potential impact on the transaction process.
  • Identify and resolve issues with projects.
  • Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by e-mail), and recommendations to the client.
  • Manage client follow-up, questions, and concerns.
  • Coordinate and respond to client requests for changes in project scope.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
  • Ability to work on projects concurrently
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
  • Understand design concepts, construction components, and funding / payment processes as it relate to construction projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in architecture, and or

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen

COMPENSATION

Salary range : $85,000 - $120,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role

The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
