Job Responsibilities This individual reports to the VP of Marketing and will manage and execute the company’s content and messaging strategies.
The role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can seamlessly blend various types of content (digital, print, collateral, events, keynotes, and social) into a data-driven singular strategy.
In addition, this individual will collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to ensure a unified approach in all communication efforts, including public relations, social media, and email marketing.
Primary responsibilities include : Develop and Execute Events Strategy : Plan and execute the strategy for Fierce’s events, including keynotes, webinars, podcasts, and other external speaking engagements to build brand authority and increase engagement.
Build Fierce’s 3, 6, and 12-month roadmap for events and PR. Public Relations (PR) : Manage PR efforts, including drafting press releases, pitching to media outlets, and handling media inquiries to ensure consistent and positive coverage of Fierce in relevant publications.
Social Media Management : Oversee Fierce’s organic social media channels, developing and implementing content calendars, engaging with followers, and driving community growth.
Find ways to drive higher social engagement both from the market and our internal team members and partners. Optimize Email Marketing Campaigns : Collaborate with other marketing team members to grow our email marketing campaigns, ensuring the messaging is aligned with overall communications and event strategies.
Measure email performance across the various audiences and constantly be A / B testing new messaging, automation, and sequences.
Grow the brand’s email list with the objective of driving revenue. Develop Collateral : Proactively support revenue-facing teams with content needs such as pitch decks, event brochures, messaging and talk tracks to promote webinars, etc.
Manage Book Reviews : Lead or support book review initiatives, positioning Fierce thought leadership publications and ensuring they reach the right audience through the appropriate channels.
Skills and Experience The successful candidate will be evaluated and selected utilizing the following experience : Events Management : Proven experience in planning and executing events, from concept to completion, focusing on keynotes, podcasts, and other high-profile speaking engagements.
Social Media Expertise : Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with a history of successfully managing and growing social media accounts.
Heavy emphasis on B2B and Linkedin expertise. Public Relations Skills : Experience managing media relations, drafting press releases, and working with journalists to secure coverage.
Email Marketing : Understanding of email marketing strategies and best practices (i.e. audience segmentation, A / B testing, etc.
with experience developing campaigns from development to execution. Content Creation : Strong writing, research, and communication skills with the ability to craft and promote compelling content for social media, email campaigns, blog, and PR materials.
Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
SEO Experience : Understanding of SEO best practices and conversion rate optimization. Technical Experience : Proficient with Hubspot and (above all else) highly data-driven.
Preferred : Experience in the Learning and Development industry. This full-time, in-office, and exempt position is in the Gilbert, AZ area.
