Inside Sales Representative, eCommerce (Nashville, TN)

Location : Nashville, TN, US Job Purpose

The eCommerce Digital Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for engaging existing customers through a digital based consultative selling process, attracting and attaining prospects and new accounts while maintaining and growing existing accounts within the Automotive, Functional, General Trader Coaters, and Industrial and Consumer market segments.

This individual will also be responsible for leveraging our digital marketing initiatives by managing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization (SMO) Pay Per Click search words and eMarketing campaigns.

This individual will develop and initiate a strategy driving transactional customers to the eCommerce platform to shop, compare and purchase product on-line.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and internal support teams to determine necessary digital strategic sales approaches within specific market segments and product offers
  • Work with Marketing to ensure that the eCommerce platform content is mantaing and updated
  • Maintain and expand the use of CRM database of current customers, prospects, and key industry contacts. Leverage CRM in support of eMarketing campaigns, customer communications, customer data and sales transaction activity
  • Manage interaction and commercial relationships with third party distributor networks
  • Mange digital lead generation process establishing tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators and deliverables
  • Work with Marketing Communications on digital advertising, direct to market ePromotions, eLearning, and customer virtual powder symposiums

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent of 7 years eMarketing / eSales experience in a business-to-business environment. Experience with supply chain logistics and distribution channels preferred
  • Customer service orientation and leadership / influencing skills
  • Ability to navigate effectively in a changing environment where competing priorities require flexibility and agility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with all departments within the organization
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
