About The Position
- Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty : General Surgery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 3 years of current CST experience License : National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Must-Have : - Willing to work two of the following : Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day and the weekend after - Flu vaccinations are mandatory - Must have a vehicle for assignment Job Description : - Shift accommodation requests will not be considered (block schedule) - COVID vaccination is required (with dose date on or after 10 / 3 / 23) with an option for exemption;
- if approved, a mask must be worn at all times on-site - Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not considered - On-call participation is mandatory, with on-call rotations scheduled - Two specific interview dates / times of availability must be added to your profile for consideration - Will provide holiday coverage as needed - Dress code requires facility-provided scrubs - Non-billable orientation of 8 hours required - Required to work every other weekend if needed - Traveler must provide a pertinent skills checklist and a supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment - Required to not request time off after upload;
no more than 5 days off will be accepted during the assignment This position requires a dedicated Certified Surgical Tech with a strong background in general surgery and the ability to adapt to the facility's demands and schedules efficiently.
