Director of Design and Creative Strategy

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to lead our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction and execution of our design projects, ensuring they align with our brand vision and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy : Develop and implement design strategies that support our business objectives. Provide leadership and mentorship to the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Project Management : Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency across all platforms.
- Brand Stewardship : Act as the guardian of our brand, ensuring that all design work aligns with our brand guidelines and values.
- Stakeholder Communication : Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners.
- Innovation : Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and continuously seek ways to innovate and improve our design processes.
- Team Development : Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing design team. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience : Proven experience in a senior design role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
- Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including branding, digital, and print work.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creativity : A creative mindset with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
