Qualifications / Responsibilities
- Must be able to travel to each facility within your territory on a frequent basis
- Qualified candidates will possess a current, active PA license to practice as a therapist (PT, OT, SLP, PTA or COTA) within the state.
- Demonstrated and proven leadership providing support for multiple long-term and Skilled Nursing facilities is required.
- Ability to identify and implement best practices resulting in superior patient outcomes is critical.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, organized, and function under new situations is required
- Monitors achievement of goals and objectives for the facility Rehab department consistent with established philosophy and standards of practice
- Stays current and reviews new regulatory directives and proposes process changes based on industry best practices
- Completes compliance reviews including site visits reports and documentation audits
- Completes Professional Improvement Plans and Disciplinary Actions when appropriate
- Monitors Rehabilitation staff and mentors facilities in the achievement of appropriate staff levels
- Provides in-service training and orientation to facility staff regarding survey process, risk management, corporate compliance, and performance improvement
Experience :
Must have 3+ years of experience as an Area Director of Rehab or Regional Director of Rehab in a Long Term Care and / or Skilled Nursing Facility setting or similar relevant supervisory experience.
